Hearing aid Earlens consists of three main parts:

  • photon processor;
  • light tip;
  • custom-tailored lens.

The lens should be carefully placed in patient’s ear by a physician, as it must tightly adjoin the eardrum. This component part serves as a kind of mediator between the device and natural hearing system, because it is the lens that receives light waves sent by the light tip, after being converted from the sound. Thus, sound perceived by the processor’s microphone is converted into light, which activates the patient’s natural hearing system with the help of the lens.

This hearing aid can work within 24 hours on a single charge. Device is fully charged in 4 hours with the help of a special wireless charger that comes in the kit.
